Abra Ca Dabra
October 16, 2005
This is a game that visited the Ju Ju briefly on loan from Ron and Jim from Pinball Revival in Novato. It is back now only this one is on loan from Tim Volz, next months artist in the Trans-View Gallery. It is a typical Gottlieb late 70's game with some strange rules. The art work is by Gordon Morison in his trademark "universal appeal" style. For some reason, I've always been turned off by his work, especially the way he depicts his women, they just seem to easy. But I have to admit, this is art works for this machine and it has nice colors. The strategy on this game is interesting, completing all the rollovers advances the bonus and that can be scored by hitting the lit drop target of which there are 2 banks of 5. They stay down until you reset them with the center target. An interesting game, with art to boot.
Produced by Gottlieb, 1975. 1 players. 7.8 out of 10 on the Play-O-Meter
High Score 105,690 by Jim B on October 15, 2005
